Start Living Again


Depression can isolate you not only from your friends and family, but it can also stop you from enjoying activities you once loved. It can be difficult to find the motivation to do anything while struggling with depression however, you deserve to enjoy life again.

Start a plan to help you get motivated and begin living your life the way you once did. We've put together a simple 3 step plan that will help you take action towards getting yourself back out into the world and reconnected with your family and friends.


So, what's the plan?

It's basically scheduling time in for your happiness. Here's how to get started:



☆ STEP 1: Make a list of things that you used to enjoy doing. Spending time with friends is a great one, but get more specific in your list. Camping with friends, hiking, biking, cooking, going to a baseball game or taking on a new hobby. Continue to add more activities to this list, it will be your master list of good times!


☆ STEP 2: Pick at least two activities you want to do next week. Schedule them in your week, make sure you put it in your calendar at a set date and time. If it includes the company of a friend, send them an invite and let them know they have a job to do, to make sure they motivate you to follow through.


☆ STEP 3: Once you confirm your plans/activities, sit down and write a letter to yourself to read on the day of. This is really important as the letter will help motivate you to follow through with the day ahead. In the letter, list reasons why it's important to you to reconnect with your friend(s), yourself and why you picked this activity. End it by telling yourself that you deserve a day to feel good, to have happiness and start living again.
